ECO-FLAP® B - Flange Flap valve

​ECO-FLAP^® Flange is a flap valve with integral flange especially designed to prevent backflow into sewers and protect properties against flooding.

The ECO-FLAP^® Flange flap valve is recommended for properties located close to waterways and bodies of water (streams, rivers, embankments, ponds ...) where the surface water is directly discharged through an outfall into the watercourse. Product not suitable for use in marine environments (swell, swirls). Please contact us for further information.

It prevents the water from rising up through the sewer (heavy rain, storms or floods) and causing flooding.

Available in ND 100, 150 and 200, the valve is comprised of:

• a recyclable glass fibre reinforced body and door (PA6-20FDV),
• a grade 1.4401 (316) austenitic stainless steel axle
• an EPDM lip seal on the door to guarantee a seal at a low level of back pressure
• an EPDM flanged end foam gasket for direct fixing to a flange or concrete headwall

Thanks to its choice of materials, the ECO-FLAP^® Flange flap valve offers good resistance against corrosion and ultraviolet degradation. Also due to its low weight it has a low operating head.

ECO-FLAP^® Flange can withstand back pressures of 1 bar or 10m head.

All NORHAM flap valves can be equipped, if necessary, with a lifting ring nut (see here) for fast and easy handling from a distance.

The ECO-FLAP^® Flange valve is intended to be installed at the end of a pipeline, at the end of a surface water drainage network.

It can be fixed onto:

• a vertical or sloping wall (bolts included)
• an ISO PN 10 pipe flange (bolts not provided).

It can be connected to any type of pipeline.
