NORHAM Drain Flexible Couplings DC for plumbing system

The multi-material NORHAM Drain Flexible Couplings DC is a flexible EPDM sleeve with grade 1.4301 (304) end clamps that allows pipes of similar diameters to be connected where the shear risks are low.

  • It is equipped with the "CLIP-IN", a patented EPDM-profile system that helps to hold the stainless steel clamping bands onto the coupling during transit and installation.
  • Available from ND 24 to 150 mm, it is suitable for plumbing and drainage systems.
  • It is perfect for use on low pressure networks (0.6 bar max) such as :
  • Plumbing and building drainage systems,
  • Sewerage and drainage systems,
  • Other non-pressure pipe systems,


They can be installed inside as well as outside of buildings and can be laid above ground or buried.


They are suitable for use at operating temperatures between -40°C and + 140°C.

Installation

​To install the NORHAM Drain Flexible Couplings DC, make sure that you have a standard screwdriver.

  • Draw a mark that corresponds to half of the width of the coupling onto the largest pipe.
  • Then slide the coupling onto this pipe,
  • Bring the second pipe as close as possible, making sure that they are well-aligned.
  • Slide the NORHAM Drain Flexible Couplings DC as far as the marking.
  • Tighten the worm drives on the clamping bands to the recommended torque.


The recommended torque setting is indicated on the coupling’s label and in the laying instructions supplied with the coupling.
